Manage and administer servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation as it relates to server and network topology, equipment, and configuration
• Troubleshoot network issues, ensuring seamless connectivity for users.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Proactively address potential issues to prevent downtime.
• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Continue to evolve the use of automation and configuration management
• Respond to user requests and incidents, providing timely resolution.
• Participate in after-hours upgrades, maintenance troubleshooting, and on-call availability as needed
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct effective research.
• Experience with server administration, network management, and security practices.
• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
• Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
