Background & Purpose of the Job :
As a Financial Planning & Analyst in the retail fashion industry, you will support financial planning, business performance analysis, and data-driven decision-making through financial reporting, BI dashboards, and analytics. This role partners closely with finance, merchandising, and commercial teams to deliver insights that support sales, inventory, pricing, and profitability performance.
What You'll Do :
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards using Power BI/Tableau for financial, sales, and operational reporting.
- Analyze sales, inventory, pricing, margin, and store performance to generate business insights.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from ERP, POS, and operational systems.
- Build automated reporting workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting.
- Establish KPI definitions and reporting standards to ensure data consistency.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, merchandising, and business teams to support decision-making.
- Support feasibility studies for new stores, brand launches, and commercial initiatives.
What You’ll Need To Succeed :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics, preferably in retail or fashion industry.
- Strong analytical thinking and understanding of retail performance drivers such as sales, inventory, margin, and pricing.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI/Tableau, SQL, ERP systems, and automation tools.
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate data into business insights.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced retail environment.
